Watford & District u3a runs 38 groups around Watford.
Watford and District u3a organises most of its activities through study groups covering a range of topics, which meet regularly and often in members' homes, each one financially self supporting. The branch holds a monthly meeting at 10am on the first Tuesday of the month at The Stanborough Centre in Watford, beginning with a short business meeting and refreshments, with a talk by a guest speaker normally starting at 11am and the meeting ending at noon. Members receive a local newsletter and may opt to take the national Third Age Matters magazine as well.

A local paper for your patch, delivered by email. Who's just started up, what's in season, when the markets are on, what's on this month, and the odd story about how a place like yours keeps its money close to home.
Good news, mostly. There's enough of the other kind about.
