Spanish – Higher Intermediate

The Spanish Higher Intermediate group has an active membership of twelve, generally at a good level of Spanish averaging B2 upper intermediate as defined by the Common European Framework. It meets for two hours most weeks on Monday mornings, from 10.15am until 12.15pm, at the Plume of Feathers pub in Shirley. A rota sets out who leads each meeting and decides the themes, which are sent to members in advance and always include members' news and, invariably, some grammar. Sessions are largely conversational and often interspersed with moments of humour. The group considers itself at its optimum membership level and is not currently accepting new members, though it reviews numbers occasionally.
