Shenfield u3a was formed in 2001 and has an enthusiastic and friendly membership of over 230, running more than thirty interest groups. The groups provide educational, creative and leisure activities at minimal cost, making use of the expertise of members. Alongside languages, art, literature and crafts, they include theatre trips, coach outings, London and country walks, dining and social events.
