What you can join around Wyre · Everything local in Wyre
Meets: Monthly on Tuesday afternoons 12:15 pm-2:15 pm 3rd Tuesday of the month
Where: Carleton Memorial Hall, Wyre
Members read plays aloud, choosing them from a list the group builds up on occasional visits to the county library at Lockstock Hall. The selections cover a wide spectrum of interest and authors, and in the last year have included plays by Joe Orton, Agatha Christie, Alan Ayckbourn, J.B. Priestley and Tom Stoppard. Because the cast of each play differs, roles are allocated flexibly and members often share or change character so that everyone gets a chance to read. The group meets from 12.15pm until 2.15pm on the third Tuesday of the month at Carleton Memorial Hall.
