Meets: On Wednesday afternoons 2:00 pm-4:00 pm 2nd/4th Wednesday in the month
Where: Fort Stamford Health & Fitness, Plymstock
This small, friendly group meets twice a month to read plays aloud, with no lines to learn and no performance to put on. What they read ranges from the intrigues of Agatha Christie and J.B. Priestly to the comedy of Noel Coward and Alan Aykbourn, along with less commonly performed authors such as Derek Benfield and Arthur Lovegrove. The group meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from 2pm until 4pm at Fort Stamford Health and Fitness.
- Newcomers Anyone who enjoys theatre and would like to give the group a try would be made very welcome.
- Cost, as stated 25 Aug 2026 £2 per session, with an occasional extra £1 to cover the cost of scripts from the library.
