Where: Horndon on the Hill Village Hall, Stanford-le-Hope
The group line dances weekly at Horndon on the Hill Village Hall, working through around seventeen dances to a variety of music, with a sit down, a drink and a chat about halfway through and a slower dance at the end to cool down. It meets from 10.15am until 11.45am. There is a free car park: turn off the High Road opposite the Swan public house into Mill Lane and it is on the right. In snow or other bad weather the class may be cancelled, so it is worth ringing or texting first.
- Newcomers Previous line dancing experience is not needed. Members' skills vary widely and the dances chosen are easy ones.
- What to bring Comfortable clothes and shoes, and a bottle of water or a drink. Chairs are put out for anyone who wants to watch or have a rest.
- Cost, as stated 25 Aug 2026 £2 per head towards the cost of the hall.
