Where: Windsor Castle Pub, Marple Bridge
A friendly and sociable French conversation group whose members learn with and from each other. Meetings begin with some enjoyable homework presentations, which are informal and certainly not compulsory, and the group then looks at or listens to French texts from a wide range of sources, including French newspapers, magazines and books. Rather than teaching formal grammar, the group is more interested in the enjoyment and the conversational side of the language. It meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month, from 10am until 11.30am, at the Windsor Castle.
- Newcomers You do not have to be an expert French speaker. The group welcomes people at all levels, including anyone dusting off rusty French from school days.
- Cost, as stated 25 Aug 2026 £2 for tea and biscuits.
