Fresh Produce & Growers in Edinburgh

The growers around Edinburgh are part of its productive economy: businesses turning land, knowledge and work into food close to where people live.

Understead makes them visible because the easiest food to find should not automatically be the food that travelled through the biggest supply chain.

Why these local producers are here

A place is partly made by the people who grow there, make there, trade there and give residents a way to buy something from somebody nearby rather than from an anonymous supply chain.

Understead makes those people visible enough to use.
