Redbourn u3a runs 54 groups around Redbourn.
Redbourn u3a is part of a nationwide network of learning groups in which older people share their knowledge, skills and interests in a friendly environment. Members run interest groups across a wide range of subjects, and monthly meetings with talks by guest speakers are held at Redbourn Village Hall on the third Wednesday of every month at 2pm for 2.30pm. Membership includes free attendance at the monthly meetings with light refreshments, and a subscription to the quarterly Third Age Trust magazine.
- Newcomers Guests are welcome at the monthly meetings.
- Who it is for For anyone in their third age, meaning anyone no longer in full time employment. There is no lower age limit. Membership of Redbourn u3a is required to join any of the interest groups.
- Cost, as stated 25 Aug 2026 Membership is £10 for the year from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027. A guest at a monthly meeting pays £2.50.
